The Couples/Bates design rewards smart lines off the tee and precise approach play, set among oak-studded hills in the San Juan Valley. Recent work upgraded greens, tees, bunkers and fairways to today’s standards while preserving the original shot values.

- Practice (daily-fee access available): 15-acre driving range, dedicated chipping area, two greenside bunkers, and an 8,000-sq-ft putting green.
- Range/short-game access: day-use facility fee; includes range, chipping and putting areas (see current policy details).
- Instruction: PGA-led coaching on full swing, short game, putting and on-course strategy; private lesson tee available.
