We’re thrilled to announce that our practice facilities at San Juan Oaks Golf Club are available for daily fee access. This means golf enthusiasts can enjoy our premium practice amenities to work on your swing, perfect your short game, or simply enjoy some quality practice time. Our world-class practice amenities await your visit.
Driving Range & Practice Facility Information
Facility Usage Fee: $35 per guest
This fee includes access to the driving range, chipping greens, and putting green .
Valid only on the day of purchase —you may not leave and return to the property.A receipt must be kept and shown to range staff upon request.
Range attendants will monitor the range throughout the day. Those guests who have not purchased a facility usage fee will be asked to pay in the golf shop or will be asked to leave.

Open during normal golf course hours of operation Closing Time: The driving range closes one hour before sunset 7am-6:00pm (Check daily with the golf shop as times may vary due to time of year. San Juan Oaks reserves the right to change hours or close at anytime)Maintenance Work Closure:

General Range Rules & Policies
Access & Eligibility
The range is available to guests before their tee time (with paid tee time) or those who purchase a daily usage fee in the golf shop. The range is available to Premier Oaks Club Members.
All San Juan Oaks range balls must remain on property —no outside range balls are permitted.No shag bags are permitted on the facility. For the safety of all guests, if you have a non-golfing guest and or children, please be respectful of all other patrons that are using the facilities and ensure they are abiding by all the rules set forth by the golf club.
Dress Code
All guests using the range must adhere to the golf course dress code policy. Collared shirts are required. Not Permitted: Cut-off shorts, T-shirts, denim jeans, and tank tops. Soft spikes only please.
Cell Phones & Noise Etiquette
Please be considerate of others when using cell phones, keep calls brief and step away if necessary.
Avoid loud conversations that may disrupt other guests.
Please refrain from playing music as this could disrupt others practice sessions.
Hitting in Designated Areas Only
Only hit from marked hitting areas for safety and etiquette reasons.
Be mindful of others and ensure shots remain within designated boundaries.
Divot Management – Leave It Ready for the Next Guest
Taking divots is normal, but please hit from a concentrated area rather than spreading divots across the grass.
Keeping divots compact helps preserve our all-grass driving range for all guests to enjoy.
San Juan Oaks is a no smoking property.

We’ve officially arrived—and we’re honored. A huge thank you to Mark C. Anderson and Edible Monterey Bay
The first reveal: Word that freshly overhauled and reopened San Juan Oaks Golf Club, on the rural outskirts of Hollister, has a tidy food and beverage operation humming along, with the fanciest restaurant in San Benito County, 36° North, leading the way. The revelations kept coming from there, ultimately resulting in a memorable lunch at McCann’s—36°’s more casual bar-and-grill sister.
Director of Food & Beverage James Kellogg gave me the rundown, with an earnestness befitting a longtime hospitality pro who helped open Tehama Golf Club, partly owned the late great Fresh Cream in Monterey and also spent time at MPCC and Pebble Beach’s Beach and Tennis Club.
“It’s a total reimagining of the whole property,” he says. “A planned-out project involving a lot of time and a lot of capital.”
